<p>PURPOSE: An isolation method of metallic ruthenium or a ruthenium compound from a solid containing ruthenium is provided to simply collect ruthenium from a solid containing a metallic ruthenium or ruthenium compound, and an electrode for a catalyst and electrolysis. CONSTITUTION: An isolation method of metallic ruthenium or a ruthenium compound from a solid containing ruthenium comprises the following steps: processing the solid at increasing temperature at a reaction area using gas stream including a mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrohalide; forming volatile ruthenium compounds carried with the gas stream; and cooling the gas stream including volatile ruthenium compounds.</p> |
