The invention concerns trailers or semi-trailers used for transport and modifications to the chassis on which the goods to be transported are placed. The trailers or semi-trailers are characterised by a length of up to 20.55 metres, a height of up to 4.50 metres, or a width of up to 3.00 metres. The invention presupposes a revolution for the road transport sector as, according to tests carried out, it leads to an increased consumption of approximately 5%, and a load movement (total volume) of 70% or 75% greater with each journey. For the environment, on one hand it presupposes a reduction of C02, and on the other, contaminating elements emitted by road haulage vehicles would also be reduced by a minimum of 70% and the wear and tear on public roads due to road traffic (highways) would also be significantly reduced, alleviating the problem caused by road transport, using road trains in which the trailer friction, which is coupled to the semi-trailer produces high levels of wear on the roads. For the transport sector this means an initial recoverable investment in the short term (between 12 and 14 months). |
