<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve timing adjustment device capable of efficiently transmitting fastening axial force to a shoe housing, in a constitution of fastening a front plate to the shoe housing by using a flat head bolt.SOLUTION: A flat head bolt 51 penetrates through a through hole 18 of a shoe portion 14 from a front plate 3 side and is engaged with a female screw hole 49 of a rear plate 4. A seating surface 561 of the flat head bolt 51 is applied as an axial force action point Pa where a boundary of an outer wall 57 of a screw portion 59 side and an outer wall 58 of a head portion end face 540 side, is kept into contact with a seat surface 361. An axial force arrival point Px as an intersection point of a normal line vector Vn orthogonal to the seat surface 361 through the axial force action point Pa and a shoe front surface Sf as an end face at the front plate 3 side, of the shoe housing 10 is included within a range of the shoe portion 14. Thus the fastening axial force Fa is efficiently transmitted to the shoe portion 14.</p> |
