<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for knitting a rib-like knitted fabric which has a thickness, is strong, and has proper elasticity, and the rib-like knitted fabric. For example, in a case of knitting an 1 x 1 rib-like knitted fabric, a first knitted fabric unit and a second knitted fabric unit are knitted through a split stitch by skipping 1 stitch at a space for knitting. A rib pattern in which 1 stitch for backstitch and 1 stitch for front stitch, near the same are arranged is repeated in a course direction. A double stitch of a transferred moving stitch and a stitch combined on needles is formed on both knitted fabric unit where the split stitch is knitted, and two knitted fabric units are connected by knitting a new knit stitch continuously.</p> |
