The invention relates to a composite material comprising hyaluronic acid and at least one acrylic polymer, characterised in that said material comprises a porous structure of hyaluronic acid at least partially covered by at least one acrylate polymer. Preferably, the acrylic polymer is ethyl polyacrylate. The invention also relates to the method for the production of said composite material and to a product selected from the group consisting of a biomedical implant, a cell cultivation support, and a pharmaceutical composition.
