<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit attaching/detaching apparatus by which a user can easily recognize such a state that a device unit is not correctly fitted in a fitting section in a body case, or such a state that a locking mechanism is not correctly fixed from the outside of the body case, and alternatively, to provide a recording apparatus equipped with attaching/detaching apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A heater unit 23 includes: a handle 35 which is installed so as to be displaceable between a first posture position in which the handle 35 is brought into an erected state with respect to the top surface 32a of the unit body 32, and a second posture position in which the handle is brought into a laterally fallen state along the top surface 32a; and a fixing means which places the heater unit 23 at a non-fixed state or a fixed state with respect to the fitting section P in the body case while being interlocked with the turning displacement of the handle section. The handle 35 comes into contact with a lid body 26 so as to regulate the covering of an opening 25 by the lid body 26 of the body case in the recording apparatus 11 from the internal side of the opening 25 when being at the first posture position.
