摘要 Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for selectively manufacturing highly reactive polybutene, intermediately reactive polybutene and non-reactive polybutene in a single plant. The apparatus for selectively manufacturing reactive polybutene and non-reactive polybutene comprises a reactive polybutene polymerizing catalyst supply device for generating a reactive polybutene polymerizing catalyst for polymerizing reactive polybutene; a non-reactive polybutene polymerizing catalyst supply device for generating a non-reactive polybutene polymerizing catalyst for polymerizing non-reactive polybutene; and a reactor for being provided with a catalyst by the reactive polybutene polymerizing catalyst supply device or the non-reactive polybutene polymerizing catalyst supply device and also being provided with a reactive material including isobutene to polymerize polybutene. If the catalyst is provided by the reactive polybutene polymerizing catalyst supply device, reactive polybutene is obtained. If the catalyst is provided by the non-reactive polybutene polymerizing catalyst supply device, non-reactive polybutene is obtained. The reactive polybutene, which is polybutene having a molecular end with a vinylidene content of 40% or greater, is highly reactive polybutene having a molecular end with a vinylidene content greater than 70% or intermediately reactive polybutene having a molecular end with a vinylidene content of 40 to 70%. The non-reactive polybutene has a molecular end with a vinylidene content of less than 40%.
