<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for collecting microorganisms in a liquid sample by filter filtration using a cellulose membrane, then efficiently isolating and recovering the microorganisms from the cellulose membrane, and a method for purifying a DNA from the microorganisms recovered by the method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for recovering microorganisms includes (a) a collection step of collecting microorganisms in a liquid sample to be tested in a cellulose membrane, (b) a step, after the step (a), of adding acetone to the cellulose membrane to dissolve the cellulose membrane, (c) a step, after the step (b), of adding water or a buffer solution in an amount of 1-10 times that of acetone added to the cellulose membrane to the dissolved material of the cellulose membrane to precipitate a cellulose fiber and (d) a step, after the step (c), of volatilizing and removing acetone from an aqueous solution from which the cellulose fiber is precipitated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
