The present invention relates to a meter casing being easily installed and having a distribution function, and an installation method thereof. The meter casing includes a meter for measuring a flow rate of water to be fed; a T-shaped elbow connected to the meter for dividing the water to a sub-pipe which is connected any one of suppliers; an elbow connected to the sub-pipe which is connected to supply the water fed from the T-shaped elbow to the other supplier; a base plate formed with a plurality of engaging portions spaced apart from each other to which a main pipe and the sub pipe are engaged; an intermediate casing fitted to the base plate and having an inner space for housing an opening valve, a reducing valve, the meter, the T-shaped elbow, and the elbow, with the top being provided with an opened surface; a finishing cover detachably engaged to an upper portion of the intermediate casing to shield the opened surface; and a fixing unit with one end being engaged to the base plate to fix the meter casing to a bottom slab and the other end being engaged to a bottom slab molding to manufacture the bottom slab.
