PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aid in specifying when each event written in a natural language text occurred. SOLUTION: A medical expression specifying part 110 refers to a corpus 120 that stores information on a focused medical event in advance, and specifies medical expressions indicating the medical event in a target character string that is a character string to be processed and is written in a natural language. A treatment history DB 160 stores history information, which contains the medical event and time information indicating a time when the medical event occurred. A history corresponding part 150 retrieves, from the treatment history DB 160, the history information containing medical events indicated by the medical expressions specified in the target character string. An output processing part 180 outputs each of the medical events, which are indicated by the specified medical expressions, and the time information contained in the history information, which has been retrieved for the medical events by the history corresponding part 150, in association with each other.
