[Class 119] A device for carrying automatic firearms of sub-machine gun type and which have attachable ammunition magazines, comprises the combination with a body belt of a spigot which engages within the magazine socket of the firearm and is detachably locked thereto. The spigot 3, Fig. 2, has a recess 5 engageable by the magazine catch of the firearm and is carried tangentially by a plate 4 which engages within the ends 8 Fig. 3 of a supplementary belt 7 having hooks 10 to engage in sockets 11 provided on the usual belt 9. A shoulder strap 13, Fig. 1, which is adjustable and may have an elastic insertion to accommodate body flexure, carries an adjustable strap 14 by a buckle 15, the strap 14 having a hook 16 to engage the muzzle, or casing vents 19, of the firearm.
