PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server apparatus which enables improvement in an information transmission efficiency, and an information transmission method for the same. SOLUTION: Use of an information transmission function of a social networking service allows transmission of a given piece of information related to a content provider to a social networking service user associated with a user who has obtained content provided by the content provider via the user.
