The present invention relates to a device for mass selective determination of one or more ions. The device according to the present invention for example is used in a measuring apparatus including an ion trap (1404). The ion trap (1404) includes an annular electrode (1401) having a first opening. A first electrode (1402) is arranged on the first opening. Moreover, an amplifier (1408) and a first transformer (1411) for providing a high frequency storage signal for the ion trap (1404) are provided, wherein the first transformer is connected with the amplifier (1408) and the first electrode (1402) in a method of the high frequency storage signal coupled with the first electrode (1402) by the first transformer (1411).
