TAP PIECE FOR BUTT WELDING

The present invention relates to a ceramic plate for welding butt-welded joints comprising: two members which are a butt-welded joint welding target; a ceramic backing material attached to a back side maintaining the state of butt jointing the two members; and a tap piece installed in welding start and end points of the two members to prevent welding defects caused by welding slag. The ceramic backing material is formed longer than a welding line of the two members, and both ends of the ceramic backing material are respectively extended to the outside of the welding start and end points. Moreover, the tap piece, where the side having the welding line is formed as the inclined side, is attached and fixed to the upper side of the ceramic backing material at the welding start and end points. The present invention has an effect of markedly reducing the transport weight by using not a steel plate but a ceramic plate around 30 g per piece; improving the work efficiency and easily working by installing the ceramic plate in not a welding method but a simple attaching method; and preventing a ceramic backing material deflection phenomenon in the end when multi-layer welding by having a steel circular rod inside the ceramic plate.
