A cylinder for cutting glass, a main body (1) and an oil passing structure of which are in a split mode, comprises the main body (1), a piston, and a piston rod (3). The head of the piston rod (3) is provided with a cutter slot for installing a glass cutter. The rod part of the piston rod (3), which extends out of the main body (1), is sheathed with an oil passing block (4). The oil passing block (4) is provided with an oil through hole (7). The piston rod (3) is internally provided with an oil supply channel (6) communicated to the cutter slot. The oil supply channel (6) is communicated with the oil through hole (7).
