<p>The present invention relates to a method for placing ashes and to a getter. The method for placing ashes according to the present invention includes a first activation step of removing an oxygen film covering a getter by heating the getter; an encapsulating step of encapsulating ashes in a vacuum packaging product together with the getter heated in the first activation step; a vacuum processing step of exhausting air inside the vacuum packaging product by a vacuum pump; and a second activation step of exposing to air the getter heated in the first activation step. The ashes are maintained in a vacuum state, a state in which residual moisture, air, and gas are removed. A high vacuum state is maintained due to a getter with an absorbent included therein, so that mold, bacteria, and insects may be prevented from appearing. Furthermore, since ashes are not decomposed or transmuted, the ashes may be safely stored for a long time.</p> |
