<p>The cable has four twisted pairs of transmission lines (11-14) for forming a twisted bundle, and a sheath (20) surrounding the bundle, where each line comprises twisted conductor elements (111-141, 112-142). The lines or beam transmission lines are twisted at a variable pitch. The cable exhibits diameter of about lesser than 4.7 mm for flow rates of 1 gigabit per second over a distance of 75m to the cable or diameter of lesser than 5.9 mm for flow rates of 10 gigabit per second over a distance of 69 m to the cable in accordance with an Ethernet protocol or IEEE 802.3. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a communication cable.</p> |
