<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an element base and a full-line recording head using the same, that can make the waveform quality of a signal of one-to-one connection and that of a signal of one-to-many connection coincide with each other and ensure a sufficient margin of Setup/Hold time.SOLUTION: The element base, in which a plurality of element substrates each including a plurality of driving elements are arranged in an arrayed direction of the plurality of driving elements, has the following arrangement. The base includes a terminal for inputting a first signal as a differential signal, a first pair of signal lines for transmitting the differential signal of the first signal from the terminal to the plurality of element substrates, a terminal for inputting a second signal as a differential signal, and a second pair of signal lines for transmitting the differential signal of the second signal from the terminal to the plurality of element substrates. Each of the plurality of element substrates includes a first amplifier for amplifying the differential signal of the first signal transmitted through the first pair of signal lines, and a second amplifier for amplifying the differential signal of the second signal transmitted through the second pair of signal lines. A gain of the first amplifier is controlled to be changed based on a first control signal from the outside.</p> |
