<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly correct a set direction of a sheet in a sheet feeding device and thus perform printing only on a blank sheet surface even when one-side printed paper is set in any of a plurality of paper feeding units.SOLUTION: When surface determination section 5, 9 determine that a sheet P 1 is one-side printed paper, branch claws 8a, 8b are oscillated to switch a paper feeding direction so that the sheet P1 is made to pass through a first sheet feeding section 7 and then is sent to a second paper feeding unit 4 at a lower stage. The sheet P is made to pass through a second sheet carrying section 10, is sent between a feed roller 11b and a reverse roller 7c, and then is sent to the second paper feeding unit 4. At this time, compared to the state where the sheet P1 is set in the first paper feeding unit 3, the front side and back side of the sheet P1 are reversed. When a sheet P2 of which printing face (surface) has not been printed is continuously fed from the first paper feeding unit 3, the branch claws 8a, 8b are oscillated to switch the paper feeding direction so as to send the sheet P2 to a printing section.</p> |
