PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage water heater capable of reducing a maximum value of power consumption in a specific time zone in a housing complex such as a condominium.SOLUTION: A hot water storage water heater comprises: a heating device 14 heating a fluid using electric power; a remaining hot water quantity detector 31 detecting a quantity of remaining hot water in a hot water storage tank 1; a used hot water quantity detector 21 detecting a quantity of used hot water in a heat using terminal 15 to which the fluid is supplied; a time zone determination unit 20 determining a current time zone; a storage unit 36 storing the quantity of used hot water as an actual quantity of used hot water per time zone; a prediction unit 37 predicting a predicted quantity of used hot water per time zone; and a controller 34 controlling the heating device 14. The controller 34 has a first operation mode in which the controller 34 compares the quantity of remaining hot water at predetermined time with the predicted quantity of used hot water in a next time zone to a time zone to which the predetermined time belongs, and heats the fluid in the hot water storage tank 1 if the quantity of remaining hot water is smaller. Owing to this, it is possible to suppress concentration of power consumption in a specific time zone by setting different boiling operation start/stop time among individual hot water storage water heaters. |
