PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic device to release a therapeutic agent that comprises a porous structure coupled to a container comprising a reservoir, where the reservoir has a volume sized to release therapeutic amounts of the therapeutic agent for an extended time when coupled to the porous structure and implanted in a patient.SOLUTION: The therapeutic device may comprise a retention structure and a reservoir so as to allow delivery from a lumen of a delivery device. The therapeutic device may comprise a port for injecting the therapeutic agent into the therapeutic device when implanted in the patient. |
