<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a recording image of high picture quality on a recording medium.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus that obtains a recording image by jetting ink to an intermediate transfer body (30) on the basis of image data and transferring the ink on the intermediate transfer body (30) to a recording medium (70) at a nip part formed by a fixing roller (10) and a pressure roller (40), and the image forming apparatus includes an ink head (50) which jets the ink to the intermediate transfer body (30) and a planar heater (20) which heats the intermediate transfer body (30). The intermediate transfer body (30) is extended over the planar heater (20) and the fixing roller (10), and the planar heater (20) has a curved convex surface on a contact surface for an inner peripheral surface of the intermediate transfer body (30).</p> |
