Process, Apparatus and System for Treatment of Animal Effluent

A process of preparing a microbe digested liquid plant nutrient containing metabolites, amino acids and polypeptides, comprising the steps of partial composting of animal effluent solids; adding the partially composted animal effluent to a vessel containing water and held in suspension; the aqueous dispersion is thoroughly aerated for up to 4 days. Solids and liquids are subsequently removed from the metabolic reactor, separated and used as plant nutrients.

1. A process for treating animal effluent comprising the steps of:
a) subjecting the animal effluent to conditions under which at least partial aerobic digestion of the animal effluent is effected; b) The partially aerobic microbe digested solids are then held under anaerobic conditions to maintain the ammonia, sugars and saccharide levels formed at the peak of microbe activity in the solid phase. Sealing the semi-composted manures at this point is vital for the successful aerobic liquid microbe digestion stage to follow. c) dispersing a solid digestate produced in step a) in an aqueous medium; d) aerating the aqueous dispersion of step b) in the presence of soluble silica and/or germanium; and e) separating solids from liquids from the aerated aqueous dispersion.
