PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably roll a steel plate while always keeping a plate thickness schedule and a load balance of each stand in rolling the steel plate.SOLUTION: A forward slip, a deformation resistance value, and a friction coefficient of each stand Fi are calculated from a plate thickness measured value and an actual temperature of a steel plate 2 that a plate thickness meter 50 and a thermometer 51 on a downstream side of a final stand F7 measure, and actual rolling loads, roll screw-down positions, and actual speeds of a plurality of stands Fi, and a roll speed and a screw-down position are derived from a rolling load model so as to control the respective stands Fi. A stationary part process of calculating and controlling the rolling speed and screw-down position of each stand Fi from the friction coefficient, deformation resistance value, and forward slip is repeated in predetermined cycles. Alternatively, a stationary part process of calculating the deformation resistance value of the steel plate 2 at each stand Fi from the plate thickness measured value of a stationary part of the steel plate 2, calculating a learning value from the deformation resistance value and an initial deformation resistance value, and calculating and controlling the rolling speed and screw-in position of each stand Fi is repeated in predetermined cycles.
|
