<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting device which can reduce a contact load at the time when an arm contacts with an obstacle, regardless of the presence of a component.SOLUTION: A lifting device 1 includes a lifting arm 4, a lifting mechanism 3, a hand 5, and a drive motor. The lifting mechanism 3 includes a drive pulley 10, a driven pulley 11, support pulleys 12, 13, and a belt 8. When a heavy object 2 is gripped by the hand 5, tension is imparted to the belt 8 by the weight of the hand 5 and the heavy object 2, and the belt 8 is pressed against the driven pulley 10 to generate a friction force between the belt 8 and the driven pulley 10. The friction force between the belt 8 and the driven pulley 10 is changed by the weight of the heavy object 2 gripped by the hand 5, and the friction force becomes larger as the weight becomes larger. When a driving force transmitted from the drive pulley 10 to the belt 8 becomes larger than the friction force, slipping occurs between the drive pulley 10 and the belt 8, so that the contact load can be reduced.</p> |
