<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas compressor capable of preventing excessive compression in the interior of a compression chamber and preventing unnecessary opening/closing of an on-off valve in a discharge portion.SOLUTION: A gas compressor comprises a compressor main body 60 formed such that a compression chamber 43 partitioned by a rotor 50, a cylinder 40, both side blocks 20 and 30, and vanes 58 performs only one cycle of intake, compression, and discharge in a period of one rotation of the rotor 50. In the cylinder 40, a second discharge portion 46 (another discharge portion without an on-off valve) is formed for discharging refrigerant gas G when an internal pressure of the compression chamber 43 reaches a discharge pressure before the compression chamber 43 faces a first discharge portion 45, and a third discharge portion 47 having a discharge valve 47c (an on-off valve) is formed upstream in a rotational direction W of the second discharge portion 46 at a position at which the third discharge portion 47 does not communicate with a discharge hole 46b of the second discharge portion 46 via the compression chamber 43.</p> |
