PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocative movement cutting tool in which vibration can be suppressed without generating any backward or forward moment and the vibration can be further suppressed by making it possible to adjust a mechanism for suppressing the vibration, and which can be used in combination with an orbital motion mechanism for increasing a cutting force.SOLUTION: A jigsaw 1 comprises a motor 20, a rod 8 which is installed with a blade 6, a power transmission part 4 which converts rotation of the motor 20 into upward/downward movement of the rod 8 to allow the blade 6 to perform upward/downward movement, and a counter weight 12 which performs upward/downward movement in a direction of the upward/downward movement of the rod 8 outside the ranges of the upward/downward movement of the rod 8 and the blade 6. At least a part of the counter weight 12 is arranged to intersect an extension line of a locus of the upward/downward movement of the rod 8. Then, the counter weight 12 performs the upward/downward movement independently of the upward/downward movement of the rod 8 caused by the power transmission part 4. |
