PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image browsing apparatus with which a possessor of the image browsing apparatus can reproduce a desired image only for a browser to whom the owner desires to show, and provide a control method of the same.SOLUTION: An image reproducer for reproducing an image and displaying it on a display section includes: photographing means for photographing a browser who browses the image displayed on the display section; analysis means for analyzing a face image of the browser from a photographed image obtained by the photographing means; and control means for terminating reproduction of the image in response to an analysis result of the analysis means.
