<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable pattern data on clothing so as to include ease or drawing-out to be simply edited.SOLUTION: A design device is configured to: edit pattern data on clothing in a three-dimensional space; store a three-dimensional shape of a human body model; generate pattern data on clothing composed of a plurality of component parts by the design device or receive an input of the pattern data thereby; virtually attach virtual clothing based on the pattern data to the human body model by simulation; have an outline indicative of a range sewing an end part of the component part with other component part by ease or drawing-out, and a process line extending to the inside of the component part from the outline, and generate a three-dimensional component part fitting the human body model; develop the component part on a two-dimensional plane so as to be cut at the process line; and deform the component part so as to add cloth to a gap to be produced along the process line or deform the component part developed on the two-dimensional plane so as to remove a part having the component part overlapped with each other along the process line.</p> |
