<p>Manufactured is a product free of chromium, heavy metals and harmful substances of high ecological impact for manufacturing footwear, which complies with the specifications of physical resistance that promote the manufacture and use of footwear. The obtained product is the result of the method for processing the steps of pickle, tanning and wet finish, where calfskin leather is used as raw material. These steps include a combination of tanning products such as modified masked Glutaraldehyde, acrylic polymer/phenolic polymer, with the purpose of obtaining a tanning free of chromium and heavy metals, also providing leather with the specific footwear characteristics, facilitating the scrapping operation. The chromium-free tanned leather is subjected to a wet finish process using a combination of resin/vegetable/polymeric/phenolic/oil/dye products for obtaining a leather with ecological and resistance properties suitable for manufacturing footwear.</p> |
