PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear part vehicle body structure of a vehicle that prevents fatigue breakage (welding peeling) due to repetitive input of a load to a weld joint part of a reinforcing member although being a structure for enhancing rigidity of a damper support part.SOLUTION: A fixation part 29 which fixes an upper end part of a suspension damper to a damper support part 7a is provided at two front and rear places of the damper support part 7a, a gusset 30 which is open downward and sectioned substantially in a hat shape extends in a vehicle width direction between the front and rear fixation parts 29, 29, and is provided covering the damper support part 7a from above to form a closed section part, flange parts 30e, 30f of the gusset 30 are welded and joined to the damper support part 7a at joint parts 32 at two places in the vehicle width direction, and a flange part between the joint parts 32, 32 at the two places is formed 33 to swell upward. |
