A data processing method and related device for FEC coding and decoding, the method comprising: on an FEC coding processing sublayer, conducting FEC coding on the data code block sequence outputted by a physical coding sublayer, with m data code blocks in each group, so as to generate n FEC check code blocks; respectively distributing mxt2 data code blocks and nxt2 FEC check code blocks to the M virtual channels of a first virtual channel group and the N virtual channels of a second virtual channel group, mxt2 being less than or equal to m_max, m_max being t1 times greater than M, n being less than or equal to n_max, n_max being t1 times greater than N, and m, n, t1, and t2 being positive integers; and by bit variable-speed multiplexing, respectively multiplexing the data distributed to the first virtual channel group and the data distributed to the second virtual channel group onto at most H interfaces of a first physical channel group and at most K interfaces of a second physical channel group, M being integral multiples of H, and N being integral multiples of K. |
