PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a separator for a solid polymer fuel cell which is lower in cost than a separator mainly comprising carbon while securing power generation efficiency and corrosion resistance performance; a method for producing the separator; and a solid polymer fuel cell using the separator.SOLUTION: A separator 4 for a solid polymer fuel cell is formed by laminating conductive metal plating layers 4X, 4Y, 4Z on a surface of a resin base material 4W. The metal plating layers 4X, 4Y, 4Z are laminated so as to cover the surface of the resin base material 4W, and include an undermost layer 4X serving as a conducting layer having the highest layer thickness, an intermediate layer 4Y serving as a diffusion prevention layer for preventing metal elements of the undermost layer 4X from diffusing to a surface layer side, and the outermost layer 4Z serving as a corrosion prevention layer for preventing the corrosion of an inside layer due to reaction gas during power generation. |
