PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the total number of single-phase power conversion circuits at an electric power conversion apparatus to which the single-phase power conversion circuits are multiply connected.SOLUTION: A power conversion part of the electric power conversion apparatus includes two single-phase power conversion circuit groups (A, B) to which a plurality of single-phase power conversion circuits (U21 to U24, V21 to 24) are multiply connected in series. The two single-phase power conversion circuit groups are mutually connected in a V-connection to constitute a V-connection circuit part that performs output or input of three-phase AC power.
