<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gripping device for locking the gripping of a can edge having a compact and simple structure.SOLUTION: The present gripping device comprises: a lower claw 7 capable of moving in a vertical direction; and an upper claw 8 coupled to the lower claw and capable of oscillating in conjunction with the vertical movement of the lower claw, so as to grip a can edge. The lower claw 7 or the upper claw 8 is urged so as to rise, and the base end part of the upper claw is supported together with the lower claw 7 via a link 9 to be movable in front and rear directions with respect to a housing 6. The housing 6 comprises a regulation plate 63 corresponding to positions where the lower claw 7 declined or moved forward and engaging with the lower claw, and the declined position of the lower claw 7 is held by the regulation plate 63.</p> |
