The bottle has an elongated cylindrical barrel (1) with a diameter (D1) and including a low profile zone (2) that has diameter (D2) lesser than that of the barrel. The low profile zone receives a printed strip carrying information protected by a plastic film, and includes a projection portion disposed inside it. The barrel has a base (8) and a nose cone shaped portion (9) having a collar across which a gas passage is arranged. An independent claim is also included for a use of a bottle for conditioning pressurized gas such as acetylene.
