PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accumulate media on an accumulation surface inclined with respect to a horizontal plane neatly.SOLUTION: A rejection cassette 116 inclines an accumulation surface 31S of an accumulation base 31 forward with respect to the horizontal plane, and has an accumulation guide 150 on its front end. The rejection cassette 116 comprises a paper bill abutting part 140 on a front side part 21A of a housing 21 so that a gap is generated between the front end part of the accumulation base and the paper bill abutting part, and a friction reduction material 142 is stuck to a rear surface of the rejection cassette 116 other than the vicinity of an upper end of the rear surface. Thereby the rejection cassette 116 supports accumulated paper bills BLS by the accumulation guide 150 and holds on the accumulation surface 31S, and when the accumulation base 31 is declined with the accumulated paper bills BLS, friction force generation with respect to the front side part 21A of the housing 21 can be prevented. When the number of accumulated paper bills BLS increases and the uppermost face exceeds height of an upper end of the accumulation guide 150, the front end is brought into contact to the friction reduction material 142 of the paper bill abutting part 140, for smooth decline. |
