<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To waste no sheet conveyed at the present moment when a communication error occurs.SOLUTION: In an error state in which communication parts 18 and 27 cannot transmit a control signal with each other, when the present position of a sheet detected by sensors 80 to 86 is in the upstream side of an image forming area in the sheet conveyance direction, an image forming system 10 stops the sheet in the upstream side, and when the present position is within the image forming area, the image forming system 10 causes an image forming part 13 to form an image and allows the sheet to be conveyed downstream of the image forming area. Thus, the image forming system 10 prints an image without stopping the sheet within the image forming area, and prints an image on the sheet stopped in the upstream side when the error state is resolved, resulting in no waste of sheet and an increase in image forming efficiency.</p> |
