PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material, which can acquire high capacitance, and can improve stability or low-temperature properties, and a method for producing the same and a battery.SOLUTION: A positive electrode comprises a positive electrode active material which comprises a lithium composite oxide containing Li and at least one element of Co, Ni and Mn, and contains P and at least one element of Ni, Co, Mn, Fe, Al, Mg and Zn as a covering element in a surface of the positive electrode active material. Preferably, the content of the covering element is higher in the surface than in the inside and is reduced from the surface toward the inside. |
