PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized solar cell which has high photoelectric conversion efficiency and good durability.SOLUTION: The dye-sensitized solar cell, in which a photoelectrode and a counter electrode are arranged facing each other via an electrolyte layer, is characterized in that: (1) the photoelectrode is formed by forming a semiconductor layer containing a dye sensitizer on a metallic titanium material or a titanium alloy material; (2) the counter electrode is formed by coating a metallic titanium material or a titanium alloy material with an electrochemical reduction catalyst layer; and (3) light irradiation means is arranged between the photoelectrode and the counter electrode. |
