The present invention relates to the use of Solute Carrier (SLC) mammalian skin transporter to evaluate penetration of topical drug, to diagnostic skin diseases and to treat skin diseases. The invention will find application especially for identifying topically applied drugs for treatment of skin diseases or as biomarkers for skin diseases. The invention aims at characterize and analyze the regulation of the expression of solute carrier transporters in mammalian skin. |
