FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: geometry tool-calliper comprises an elongated housing, an interfacing head in the upper part of the housing for connection with a logging cable, a multilever system of pivotally extendible double-arm measurement levers in the lower part of the housing, extensible levers of which are in contact with the investigated surface in the cross-sectional plane of the housing, a recording system inside the housing with an electronic converter for converting the recorded and measurement sensors, the number of which is equal to the number of levers, each sensor being mounted on the upper arm of the corresponding measurement lever. The apparatus is further equipped with an endpoint sensor in the form of a movable rod mounted in the housing with the capability to move freely on the longitudinal axis of the apparatus and fitted with a permanent magnet, and two Hall sensors mounted at endpoints of movement interval of the rod with a permanent magnet, and the measurement sensor is in the form of a piezoceramic ultrasonic emitter-receiver and at least a two-step reflector mounted on the corresponding measurement lever and not mechanically connected to the emitter-receiver.EFFECT: high sensitivity and accuracy of measurements, simple design and high reliability thereof, wider field of use of the apparatus.4 dwg |
