A pipe clamp using two or more clamp portions each of stainless steel, each generally providing a respective part of a circle in profile and adapted to be fitted around and thereby support a pipe, a clamp ear located at one end of each of at least two clamp portions, mutually aligned apertures in respective adjacent ears and adapted to be joined together with clamping force by a nut and bolt, and each of the clamp portions being a strap with an external stiffening rib or ribs pressed therein.
