PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an vehicle running informing device that enables surroundings to properly recognize traveling conditions of a vehicle. SOLUTION: When stopping an engine 3 and traveling by inertia, the vehicle 1 which travels with power from the engine 3 which is a driving source and makes sound when generating power, generation sound is generated by a pseudo traveling sound generation device 31 which can generate the generated sound with arbitrary sound volume. Thereby decrease of traveling sound accompanying stop of the engine 3 can be complemented, and when large traveling sound is generated by traveling the vehicle 1 in comparatively high speed zone, the traveling sound according to the vehicle speed can be maintained, even if stopping engine 3 and travelling by inertia. Consequently since traveling sound can be made continuous before and after stopping of the engine 3, traveling condition of the vehicle 1 recognized with eye and edge can be made to coincide to persons external of the vehicle 1, and thereby the surroundings can be properly recognized of the traveling conditions of the vehicle 1.
