<p>First aspect of the invention is a motorized hand tool comprising a head assembly, including a head housing have one or more shaped apertures extending at least partially through a peripheral wall of the head housing; a clamshell housing, including an inwardly extending protrusion which tightly engages with the one or more shaped apertures, obstructing rotational and axial movement of the head housing relative to the clamshell housing. Another aspect is a method for assembling a motorized hand tool, comprising aligning and installing the protrusions of a first clamshell housing portion 216 with the correspondingly shaped voids in a head assembly 206; and installing one or more fasteners to couple the first clamshell housing portion to a second clamshell housing portion 218. The last aspect is a motorised cordless ratchet wrench comprised of the same features as the first aspect plus a motor assembly, a steel wave washer between the motor assembly and a ratchet head housing.
