PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ovicide having excellent ovicidal effect on eggs of noxious insects in clothing, to provide an ovicidal method, and to provide a liquid absorption type thermally-transpiring aqueous insecticide. SOLUTION: The ovicide to eggs of noxious insects in clothing includes, as an active ingredient, one or more glycol ethers selected from the group consisting of propylene glycol monopropyl ether, propylene glycol monobutyl ether, dipropylene glycol monopropyl ether, dipropylene glycol monobutyl ether, dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether, ethylene glycol monoisobutyl ether, diethylene glycol monoisobutyl ether, diethylene glycol dibutyl ether, diethylene glycol dimethyl ether, and triethylene glycol dimethyl ether.
