<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collector for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery for restraining short circuit of the battery due to dendrite formation of lithium caused by capacity reduction of a negative electrode active material of the nonaqueous secondary battery including a lithium ion secondary battery or the like, and to provide a negative electrode using the collector for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: In the collector having a copper porous sintered body, the copper porous sintered body has a metal framework of a three-dimensional network structure, and has empty holes among the metal frameworks.
