PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing plate that can be used as a circulation part fixing member for fixing a ball circulation part to the axial end of a nut of a ball screw, and facilitates attachment work. SOLUTION: The pressing plate 14 is a plate-formed member having a barrel-shaped face shape, and has a pair of circular outer peripheral surfaces 14a which contact with circular inner peripheral surfaces 81b of recesses 81 of the nut 8, respectively, and a center hole 14b penetrating a screw shaft 4. Round columnar protrusions 14c entering protrusion insertion holes 81c of the nut 8 are formed at the circular outer peripheral surfaces 14a. Openings 32 penetrating in the plate-thickness direction are formed in the vicinity of the circular outer peripheral surfaces 14a as notches from one side face 14d. The openings 32 have face shapes at which round openings 32b are connected to tips (other side-face 14e sides) of circular openings 32a which are coaxial with the circular outer peripheral surfaces 14a, and the round openings 32b are larger in diameter than radial dimensions of the circular openings 32a.
