<p>A surgical fastener system is disclosed. The system comprises a plurality of fasteners each having a barrel portion with an external thread and a throughbore extending through the barrel portion with an internal threaded portion. The system also comprises a mandrel extending through the plurality of fasteners, the mandrel having a threaded portion adapted to engage with the internal threaded portion of the throughbore of at least one of the plurality of fasteners. A rotator is adapted to engage with and rotate the at least one of the plurality of fasteners so as to move the at least one of the plurality of fasteners along the threaded portion of the mandrel.</p> |
