[Class 102 (ii)] [See also Group V] Means for extruding viscous materials in long lengths comprise a removable and reversible cylinder d, a plug or piston e slidable therein, a hydraulic plunger b at one end of the cylinder, and a removable cap f containing a nozzle g at the other end. After the plug e has been moved to the top end of the cylindei by the plunger b, the cylinder is removed, recharged, and repaced in the reverse position over the plunger. The cylinder is mounted on a seating c on the hydraulic cylinder a and the cap f is held in place by a screw h in a cross-head j mounted on the base. The hydraulic pressure is applied by a hand lever and is released by a valve m. The apparatus is primarily intended for use with sealing materials for motor vehicles, windows, &c,
